AutoZum 2023: The Place2be of the automotive aftermarkets in Salzburg

(c) RX Austria & Germany

From 20 June to 23 June 2023, AutoZum at the Messezentrum Salzburg will be the meeting place for the automotive aftersales industry. Almost 200 exhibitors from 13 countries will present innovations to visitors. Three special show areas on the topics of "Future Mobility", "Networked Workshop" and "Commercial Vehicles" will highlight the latest trends and take a look into the future of the industry. The extensive programme in the AutoZum Forum in Hall 7 rounds off the event's offerings.

New content concept

"We are looking forward to the upcoming AutoZum in Salzburg. It has always been the claim of AutoZum to offer our visitors added value, also in terms of content. That is why it is important for us to set clear impulses here. At this edition, we are staging three special shows and offering another content focus with the AutoZum Forum," says Christian Konrad, AutoZum Product Manager at RX Austria & Germany. Industry players such as Birner, Berner, Lack & Technik, Würth, Stahlgruber, WashTec and Kastner will be represented at the fair. With almost 200 exhibitors, AutoZum is well booked after a four-year break due to Corona.

Three special shows and the AutoZum Forum as a centre of attraction

In the "Future Mobility Area" powered by EVALUS in Hall 8, visitors can find out about the latest trends and most important requirements of e-mobility and exchange ideas with experts. In view of the further increase in the number of registrations for e-vehicles, it is essential to get an idea of what this means for one's own company and what preparations are necessary to continue to operate successfully on the market.

The special show "Networked Workshop" powered by BOSCH lets visitors experience what a fully equipped networked workshop can do and what advantages it offers for their own business. Together with experts, tailor-made solutions for their own workshops can be developed on site.

In the "Commercial Vehicles Area" the focus is on both conventional and alternative drives for trucks as well as commercial vehicles and their impact on the entire industry.

Another attraction is the stage, the AutoZum Forum, in Hall 7, which will kick off on 20 June with an opening discussion with experts from the industry – a detailed invitation to the media will be issued in good time before the fair. During the four days of the fair, Marco Dittrich from the industry magazine "Der Österreichische Transporteur", Deniz Kartal from EVALUS, Helmut Stuphann from BOSCH and Mathias Bertoldi from WashTec will be among those on stage. The topics range from commercial vehicles to e-mobility and networked workshops. The VRÖ Tyre Day will take place on Thursday morning in the AutoZum Forum in Hall 7.

Future Topic: Mobility Turnaround & Sustainability

The mobility revolution is in full swing – both in the area of individual mobility, but also in the area of commercial vehicles. This also has an impact on the industry. The situation is similar with digitalisation, which is also increasingly finding its way into everyday workshop life.

The current interview series at AutoZum is also dedicated to these topics. In conversation with experts from the industry, we take a look at the latest developments and trends and at the upcoming event. The series can be found at: AutoZum Salzburg | Media-Newsroom
